Hi
I was wondering if anyone can help me out.....I would like to get into auditing, however I have no idea what to charge a client for this.....Does anyone have any knowledege or websites of where I can find this information?? Thanks Cheryl |

Don't know of website but it can be charged per chart which is probably the fairest way I've done it by chart. I have seen people pay hourly for this
too. I guess it depends on the project and who you're doing the auditing for internal or external.

The AAPC has partnered with a group that will be offering certification in auditing (Jan. 2010) you might check their website - there's a list of possible
incomes in different areas).
It's a popular "side shot" to medical billers and coders.

Very interesting Barbara... Our local chapter is always getting requests for auditing I like the idea of a certification.
It's a great income on the side and it breaks things up a bit too.
