Hi,
I have a chiropractor that wants to know if he is required to continue filing a claim with Medicare when they stop paying on a claim. For example, The diagnosis does not warrant the length of treatment but the patient still has complaints and wants to be treated. The patient understands that Medicare will not pay beyond what is reasonable and is willing to pay cash for the services. Does the provider still have to send a claim to Medicare?
Thanks,
Scott
