I have a question:
I attended a college located in Miami, Florida for a full year. At the end of that year a recieved my diploma and I took this test which I was informed by the school it was a state exam for "Medical Billing and Coding" now that I have been doing lots of research, I'm not even sure if this is a credentials type of certification that I need. My certificate states "National Certified Insurance and Coding Specialist" issue by National Center for Competency Testing, which has to be renew every year. I have looked them up and seems that they issue certification for other studies in the medical field.
Should I be concern and take the AAPC test or should I just let it be. As I said I did go a full year for this course so it may any sense that I don't get some kind of certification that has Values. Shine some light on this issue please.
Thank you
