Sorry I guess my question was not real clear. This seems to be a medisoft or a medicaid issue and not a billing issue because my claims do require authorization for most visits, (doc is gastroenterologist) and we are including the auth in the case for each patient. The clearing house is saying they see our auth but somehow when it gets to medicaid they are saying we don't have the auth on the claim. We are using the stratus platform. Medisoft is researching now because they say that we have to use the medicaid tab in case where the service authorization exception code is.
