Hi Sharon,

Thanks for the confirmation. I forget to go to the PT Board for written documentation.

I only know what the chiro told me re: reimbursement. PT comes to office and sees new pts referred by chiro. Does E&M and writes treatment plan. Then the chiro executes the treatment plan and wants it billed under PT ID#. PT comes back next week to see new pts and initial chart notes from existing pts.
I assume (deadly word) that the PT receives reimbursement for E&M from insurance company, and the chiro keeps the ongoing PT visits.

I am quite sick of the whole matter, and will only bill PT under the chiro ID unless I see the PT in the office and/or see his notes ongoingly. My office is 1 block from theirs, so it is not hard to check in with them. Just very disappointed in the integrity of it all. The next contract I sign with a new provider (nonchiro), my present to myself will be to boot this guy, as it is to much work keeping him inside rules and regs. He obviously did not listen when I gave him very profound coaching:

PIGS GET FAT - HOGS GET SLAUGHTERED

Thanks again for your support.
